How to Have Fun in the DiscoverySpace
Now that summer vacation is in full swing, Central’s DiscoverySpace is buzzing with excitement. DiscoverySpace is a hands-on exploration zone where school-age youth (ages 6 to 12) and their adults can drop in and get inventive.
With activity bins brimming with materials for tinkering and building, a LEGO wall, and a computer for digital art, robotics, and creating music—the possibilities for creative fun and learning are endless.
We want everyone to have an amazing time in the DiscoverySpace, so let’s all do our part to keep this a fantastic place to visit.
Create with Care
While our staff may pop in during drop-in hours to help you make the most of the space, they are not there to patrol its use.
We understand that exploring is fun, but it can get messy. So, please respectfully share our communal DiscoverySpace and remember to:
- Always supervise your children.
- Keep the room tidy and clean up after yourself.
- Keep the activity bins in the room and put them away after use.
- Put garbage in the waste and recycle bins.
- Dress for safety—always wear shoes.
- Enjoy your snacks and drinks in food-friendly zones, not in this room.
- Always be kind and share nicely with others.
With your care and cooperation, we can make you and your child's DiscoverySpace experience not simply great but genuinely awesome!
Come and discover, create, and have fun with us this summer. See you soon!
