A NEW Way to Borrow Community Access Passes
Starting today, Community Access Passes (CAP) will be available at our branches on a first-come, first-served basis. This update helps ensure more people have the opportunity to enjoy them!
How It Works
Each BPL branch has its own inventory of passes whose status is visible in the online catalogue. Customers can check online for current availability—here’s how you can do this:
- Type "Community Access Pass" in the Search box at the top of the library’s website home page or online catalogue.
- Select the menu option to "Filter your results by… Available Now"
You can also call ahead to ask staff about pass availability. Although you can get pass information, you will not be able to place a hold either online or by calling the branch.
Community access passes have a 7-day loan period and are NOT holdable, renewable, or valid for special events hosted by the participating organizations. The Library’s fees and charges apply to community access passes.
The availability of passes can change quickly as customers borrow and return them throughout the day. While the catalogue may show a pass as “available,” we cannot guarantee it will still be there when you visit the branch.
