How to print from a wireless device instructions

Each branch has a digital photocopier-printer for public use, but the equipment varies slightly. Please make sure the branch you are visiting has what you need.

You can pay by credit or debit at the kiosk beside the copier-printer. Please see a staff member if you want to pay with cash.

Photocopying

Step #1 - Pay: To start copying, first tap your debit (recommended) or credit card on the yellow touch-pad on the kiosk (beside the copier-printer). This places a temporary $5 pre-authorization on your card by NAYAX Canada.

  • When using a debit card, your payment is processed as soon as the print job is completed.
  • When using a credit card, the remaining balance after the print job is completed is reimbursed by your bank, which may take a day or longer.

Step #2 - Select COPY on the kiosk touch-pad.

Step #3 - Select your copying preferences and then start your copying job.

Our copier-printers use library-supplied letter- or legal-sized paper. We cannot use personal paper supplied by customers in our printers.

Copy Prices

  • 30¢ Black & White Duplex (double-sided copy)

Printing

At each computer workstation: Find step-by-step instructions on how to send your print job to the printer.

Once sent to print, pay for your job by credit or debit at the printing kiosk. This places a temporary $5 pre-authorization on your card that will be removed after the transaction is complete.

  • The pre-authorization balance is reimbursed by your bank, which may take a day or longer.
  • If you wish to pay in cash, please ask library staff for help.

At the printer: Find instructions on how to release your print job.

Printing & Your Privacy

No one can see what you are printing unless they have your Job Name/ID. It is yours to protect.

Expired Printing

Your print job expires in 24 hours once it is sent to print. If you want to delete your job after printing, please ask library staff for help. Otherwise, your print job will remain available for reprinting for 24 hours.
