The annual CIBC Run for the Cure takes place in Burlington on Sunday, October 4, 2026, and will affect access to Central Branch. Pedestrian and traffic congestion will begin around 7am as participants arrive and register.
New Street will be fully closed from Drury Lane to Walker's Line between 9:30am and approximately 1pm.
Teen Tour Way at New Street will be closed; however, visitors can access the park and library via Drury Lane. Parking in the north lot behind the library may be limited.
Due to road closures and traffic restrictions, we strongly recommend planning for traffic delays, or walking, cycling, or taking transit to Central Branch.
