Help Us Make Your Library Even Better
From Monday, June 10, to Sunday, June 23, you have a special opportunity to share your thoughts and make a real difference by taking our annual Customer Satisfaction Survey.
"Over the past few years, we have continuously improved our open hours, collections, and services based on customer input," says BPL chief executive officer Lita Barrie. "Our city is growing and changing, and we want to make sure the library reflects the community we serve."
The survey is quick and easy, with just three short sections: Demographics, Customer Satisfaction, and Community Well-Being.
What’s New This Year
This year, we’ve added a few optional questions about demographics to learn more about who uses our library and those we might be missing. Don’t worry—all responses are completely anonymous.
We have also added a question to learn about what community well-being means to library customers to help guide our offerings. The survey asks people to select five aspects they believe are most important to community well-being from a list of many options.
During the survey period, library visitors will also see large engagement boards posted at all our branches. We invite you to tell us—by sticker—what aspects of life you feel are most important for community well-being. Alternatively, if you wish to provide this input online, there is a question on the survey.
We sincerely appreciate your time, interest, and openness. As our CEO Lita Barrie says, "Burlington Public Library thrives because of your involvement! Your feedback is invaluable in helping us make our library the best it can be for everyone in our community. We look forward to hearing from you in the coming weeks."
