BPL Book Club 2024

six adults seated against a wall interacting, with each holding an open book

Our adult book club is all about meeting people and forging friendships over your shared love of reading. Our lives get busy, and it can be hard to meet and connect with friends. Here's an opportunity for you to discover and build relationships without pressure or planning.

Our expert staff guide a lively discussion about thoughtfully selected titles—from classics to new releases. Bring your enthusiasm and love of reading, even if you don't get a chance to finish this month's title.

Plan to come to any—or all—BPL Book Club talks. Here are the titles we're talking about this year and the hosting locations. Registration opens on the third Wednesday of the month for the next month's sessions.

View the online calendar listing for all upcoming sessions or see what's scheduled at each branch below.

BPL Book Club does not distribute books to attendees. We purchased extra copies of the thirty books we selected for this year's book club, and they are part of our regular collection. You can plan ahead by placing holds on book club titles you want to read.
