You may register for storytimes on the registration date from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., either in person or by phoning the branch at which the storytime is to be held. Telephone numbers for all locations are listed on our Hours and Locations page.

Please note: Babies, Ones, Twos and Toddlers may attend only 2 registered sessions within the 12 month period that the child is in each age group.

Storytime Descriptions

Storytime Program	Age	Location	Description
Baby Rhyme-Time [Top]	4-12 months	Central and Tansley Woods	A new program for babies aged 4 to 12 months and their adult caregivers. Come prepared to have fun with baby. Please bring a blanket for baby to lie on. Lots of music, rhymes, tickles and bounces. Registration is limited to 2 sessions only, with each session lasting approximately 6 weeks.
Small One-ders	12 - 23 months	Brant Hills, Central & Tansley Woods	A one-derful storytime for children 12 to 23 months of age plus their adult caregiver. First stories, music, rhymes, and whole body movement. Sing along with the storyteller – it's fun for all! Registration is limited to 2 sessions only, with each session lasting approximately 6 weeks.
Toddler Storytime [Top]	18-36 months	Aldershot, & New Appleby	A 20 minute active program with picture book stories, rhymes, fingerplays, flannelboard stories and music. Each toddler must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Tales for Two's [Top]	24-35 months	Brant Hills, Central & Tansley Woods	A fun storytime for toddlers aged 24 to 35 months of age plus their adult caregiver. Join in with the stories, music, songs and rhymes. Registration is limited to 2 sessions only, with each session lasting approximately 6 weeks.
Preschool Storytime [Top]	3 - 5 years	All locations except Kilbride	For children aged 3 - 5 capable of sitting on their own. Stories, rhymes, fingerplays and music may be included.
Family Storytime [Top]		Central	A special storytime perfect for preschoolers of working parents. Children under the age of 3 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
