KidsClick!
This is a great search engine for children. KidsClick! was created
by a group of librarians at the Ramapo Catskill Library System
as a way for public libraries to guide young users to valuable
and age appropriate web sites. You can search by word, first
letter of the subject, or use their handy subject areas. All
sites are rated by age range and are child-safe. |
Yahooligans!
Designed for web surfers ages 7 to 12, with sites selected by
the Yahoo! Inc. staff., this is probably the best-known directory
for children. You can search either by their grouped subjects,
like School Bell, Around the World, or Science and Other Oddities
or by your own keyword. It also offers a site of the week, and
much more. All sites are child appropriate. |
